Peregrine Falcons at Saints Peter & Paul, Kettering
Nearly five years ago, the Hawk and Owl Trust was approached by the Rector of Saints Peter and Paul in Kettering for guidance on a pair of Peregrine Falcons that had chosen the church as their nesting site.
A conservation officer from the Trust visited the site and provided expert advice, leading to the installation of a nesting tray to support the falcons. Since then, the Trust has continued to work closely with the Church, offering ongoing support and collaborating with the Rector and local volunteers.
By 2023, the Peregrines had successfully raised three chicks, and the same again in 2024.
To monitor their activity during the colder months, the Trust installed a live camera, offering the community a unique window into the lives of these magnificent birds.
