In 2025 the Peregrine Falcons at Norwich Cathedral have laid four eggs. This has kickstarted the Watchpoint season off on an exciting note. The first egg was laid on the 21st of March, and there was a nail biting four-day gap until the second egg was laid on the 26th. A third egg was then laid on 28th and fourth on 31st. We anticipate that the eggs will hatch at some point during the week commencing 28th April. There is not much activity as the Peregrines take turns to incubate the eggs. They reserve their energy and while one is keeping the eggs warm, the other is off hunting or seen perching on the Cathedral nearby.
We are excited to kick off the Peregrine Watchpoint from the 28th of April. You will find our trailer at Cathedral Close where you can speak to our friendly volunteers and find out more about the Peregrine Falcons at Norwich Cathedral. We will have our scopes and binoculars so you can see the Peregrines for yourself and a screen showing the live camera of the nest, so we do not miss any of the action from the ground. We have our new Peregrine Projects page on our website where you can find out more about the Norwich Peregrines and the Watchpoint. https://projects.hawkandowltrust.org/
Come and visit us at the watchpoint, we will be there three days a week until the end of June.

- Week commencing 12th May we are open; Tue 13th, Wed 14th and Sat 17th.
